Sustainable food systems that feed the world, support local communities, and protect ecosystems require that more transformative investment practices are mainstreamed across the business community. TLI fosters mainstreaming by working with investors, the national business ecosystem, and global and regional development communities. This involves a multi-pronged approach that aims to drive innovation simultaneously and in coordination across three levels: investment; national business ecosystems; and the global development community.
Transformative Land Investment works with investors and other stakeholders to support adoption of inclusive business and agroecology practices. By securing land tenure and livelihoods of 300 000 rural people, the nitiative will contribute to Switzerland’s global effort towards more sustainable food systems.
