GLFx Meru Joins African Biodiversity Network in Celebrating 20 Years of Conservation Milestones

In an impactful gathering, GLFx Meru marked a significant milestone by participating in the 20th-anniversary celebration of the African Biodiversity Network. This event showcased two decades of dedicated efforts in preserving critical biological diversity and culture, and GLFx Meru played a vital role as a longstanding partner.

Representing the chapter with great dedication and enthusiasm, Choater member Hardi Tijani took part in this event, which was held at the scenic Bantu Lodge in Nanyuki, Kenya. Over these years, GLFx Meru, in collaboration with the African Biodiversity Network, has successfully mobilized youth, communities, and farmers in the mission to conserve and protect biodiversity.

At the heart of GLFx Meru’s mission lies a commitment to ensuring that biodiversity conservation remains a top priority, with a strong emphasis on empowering and engaging the youth in this critical process. As we reflect on the achievements of the past 20 years, our dedication to safeguarding the natural world for future generations remains unwavering.

This celebration not only recognizes the remarkable journey of the African Biodiversity Network but also reinforces the collective efforts needed to address pressing environmental challenges. GLFx Meru looks forward to continuing the partnership and contributing to even greater conservation achievements in the years to come.
