Highlights
The second Agroecology TPP Members Forum meeting discussed strides and challenges in transforming global food systems, featuring speakers like Éliane Ubalijoro of CIFOR-ICRAF and Sim Hourleang of the Conservation Agriculture and Sustainable Intensification Consortium (CASIC) at Cambodia’s Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, among others.
Participants shared achievements, strategies, and best practices, while identifying future priorities for supporting sustainable agriculture. Keynotes, success stories from community members, and collaborative discussions underscored the need for inclusivity, stronger local-global partnerships, and enhanced knowledge exchange to drive meaningful change.
We know our food systems are broken, resulting in malnutrition, food waste, biodiversity loss, land degradation and climate change. But we also know that there is a great opportunity for transformation, by harnessing the knowledge and solutions already in use. And one of these solutions is agroecology.
