The TPP addresses its eight domains (shown here in green) in a demand-driven way, whereby local needs and priorities are articulated by national agricultural research and extension system representatives, civil society and social movements (at the center of the diagram) to global partners (depicted here in the periphery), and those needs and priorities then inform the direction of the platform as a whole.

Domains

The Transformative Partnership Platform on Agroecological Transitions (Agroecology TPP) addresses key evidence and implementation gaps in priority domains – areas where action is needed to unlock potential for widespread global adoption of agroecological approaches. Within each of these domains, the Agroecology TPP seeds fund activities designed to generate proposals and investment in the area, as well as one or more funded projects involving AE-TPP partners. Some external projects aligned to the Agroecology TPP domains are also supported, where there is added value to both parties in working together. A feature of the AE-TPP is not only operating within each domain but, also, synthesizing evidence and learning across domains to foster transformative change.
